Happy Pride Month
Why is the idea of raising the minimum wage here in ABQ from $12 PER HOUR TO $15 per hour so controversial?

**A few nights ago our ABQ city council members passed an ordinance 5-4 to raise the minimum wage here from $12 to $15. The measure was sponsored by Councilors Joaquin Baca, Tammy Fiebelkorn and Stephanie Tellers.

**I attended that meeting of one mind but left happy to have heard other sides to the argument.
Like they always say there’s my side, your side and the truth.

Listen to hear from a childcare worker, waitress and others as they share their reasons for and against the raising the minimum.

And again,
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH

MLK 2026
With all that has happened in just the last thirty days. This past week even, why would anyone dare to come out to a march today with the threat of federal induced violence ever looming? One could also ask why would anyone dare to stay home with tyranny threatening our democracy ?
This year's MLK Day had me less interested in the the speakers and much more interested in those attendees. Protectors of Democracy.
In this episode, meet people who are not just apart of the village, they're good villagers.
